Jonathan Lavine

Jonathan Lavine is the Chief Investment Officer and Founder of Bain Capital Credit and Bain Capital Special Situations. He is also Co-Managing Partner of Bain Capital, a leading global private investment firm with approximately $180 billion in assets under management. In 1993, Mr. Lavine joined Bain Capital with the firm's private equity business. Bain Capital Credit invests across the full spectrum of credit strategies including leveraged loans, high yield bonds, distressed securities and assets, private middle-market loans, bespoke capital solutions, structured products, non-performing loans, hard assets and equities. Before joining Bain Capital, Mr. Lavine consulted with McKinsey & Company, and worked in mergers and acquisitions at Drexel Burnham Lambert.
