Brigitte Posch

Ms. Posch joined Apollo in August 2018 as the Head of Emerging Markets sitting in London. Prior to this, Ms. Posch was the Global Head of Emerging Markets Corporate Credit at Barings Asset Management where she established the firm’s dedicated EM Corporate Credit funds and co-led the blended EM Debt Total Return strategy. Prior to Barings, Ms. Posch spent five years at PIMCO where she oversaw the strategies for EM Corporate Credit, Global Credit and Multi-Sector Fixed Income. Before PIMCO, Ms. Posch was a managing director and head of Latin America securitization and trading at Deutsche Bank. She was previously a Director with Ambac where she was responsible for developing asset- and mortgage-backed securities in emerging markets. She started her career in Brazil working as a Credit Analyst and origination. Brigitte has worked in the industry since 1992 and her experience has encompassed emerging markets structured credit, investment grade and high yield corporate bonds and loans. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, she was an executive vice president portfolio manager – head of emerging markets corporates at PIMCO. She also held positions in Sao Paulo, Brazil at Banco Inter-Atlantico/Credit Agricole, Citibank and ABN AMRO.

She received a BA from Mackenzie University of Sao Paulo and enrolled in a graduate management program from Harvard University.
